Title: Account Manager - Bilingual German (18-00483)
Location: Southfield, MI or Spartanburg, SC
Base Compensation: Open and Competitive

Type of hire: Direct
Travel: Yes (Customer visits, visits to Michigan or Spartanburg, as well as potential plant visits)
 
Position Responsibilities:
  • Manage all commercial elements of a platform/program including:
  • Negotiating
  • Profit margin improvement
  • Cost savings
  • Engineering change activity
  • Monitoring target pricing where applicable
  • Responsible for tracking the receipt of purchase orders and tooling orders
  • Responsible for developing and submitting on-time quotations to the customer
  • Responsible for responding to new capacity study requests
  • Responsible for submitting new business quotations and associated cost breakdown information as required
  • Responsible for monitoring Customer Documents to ensure proper submittal to customer to ensure on-time payment
  • Responsible for championing weekly RFQ/ECN change meetings
  • Responsible for new business award and new RFQ kick off meetings
  • Responsible for being the Point-of-Contact for both the customer and the company
 
Position Requirements:
  • German verbal and written communication skills (Required)
  • Able to work well in a team environment
  • Knowledge of B2B (BMW & VW)
  • Knowledge of Covisint (Client)
  • Experience working in both a Commercial and/or Advanced Sales role
  • Ability to drive cross functional team activity and inputs for timely quote submissions
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power Point

REFERRAL BONUS PROGRAM:
If you are able to refer a person we do hire, we can offer up to $250 for contractors after they are on the job for 90 days and up to $500 for direct hires after they are on the job between 90 days to 180 days, depending on customer payment terms
