Title: Accounts Payable / Purchasing Analyst

Location: Sterling Heights, MI
Base Compensation: $25-$30/hr based on experience
Type of hire: Long-Term / Open Ended Contract

Position Responsibilities:
  • Organizing and leading credit hold meeting
  • Maintain list of credit holds including pay dates and credit hold releases.
  • Communicates to plants and purchasing at the end of each day confirmation of payment and credit hold releases
  • Generate reports as needed
  • Supplier account reconciliations ( includes working with plants to resolve discrepancies)
  • Support all component requests, purchase requests, test requests, etc. as required to maintain project deliverables.
  • Develop and support commodity benchmark database for targeted commodities.
  • Support Commodity Managers in preparing benchmark proposals and presentations as required.
  • Maintain data control system for all supporting documents of benchmark database.
  • Communicate progress reports regularly with the Commodity teams and Purchasing Management.

Position Requirements:
  • Prior Accounts Payable experience required
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Good analytical problem solving skills.
  • Strong financial analysis and knowledge of MS Excel functions and formulas.
  • Knowledge of MS SharePoint web platform.
  • Knowledge of the APQP process according to customer and federal regulations and specifications.

If you are able to refer a person we do hire, we can offer up to $250 for contractors after they are on the job for 90 days and up to $500 for direct hires after they are on the job between 90 days to 180 days, depending on customer payment terms
