Automotive Research Analyst
This is a Direct/Permanent Position with a Tier 1 Automotive Supplier in the Northville, MI area.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Support research analysis and communication of all federal and state regulations that might affect company products
  • Contribute to product strategy and vision development through trend and market analysis
  • Study and analyze market, customer demands and adoption trends, industry developments, competitor's positions, regulatory trends and their impacts on the organization
  • Attend key events to gather relevant information.
  • Summarize and present findings to company and management
  • Work to increase communication and cooperation with regulatory and technical planning
  • Lead research activity related to regulatory and new technology developments
Position Requirements:
  • At least 3 years experience with regulatory, testing and safety related issues (CAFE?/GHG, NCAP/safety, Cyber Security, etc)
  • Engineering or advanced technical degree required
  • Technical ability required to understand regulatory trends and new technology affect by them
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Prior experience working with NHTSA, IIHS, MEMA, OESA, CAR, Novation Analytics, CARB, and/or EPA is preferred.
  • Willingness and availability to work such weekends and holidays as necessary and desirable to meet business needs

  6. What is your 'acceptable” and 'ideal base” compensation for this position? We would like to make sure we don't price you out of consideration, but you know what the numbers are that you need (Please Do Not put negotiable)
  7. When would you be available to interview and start this position, if selected?
  8. If you currently do not live near the job location and the commute is too far for you, are you willing and able to relocate at your own expense?
