Job Description

Title: AV Operations Engineer (18-00208)
Location: Plano, TX
Pay Rate: $40-48/hr.

Shift: 1st

Operational Duties:
Manage AV Support Operations
Vendor Contract Management
Problem resolution and counter-measures
Configuration checks to ensure company standards
Back-up configuration, store on local share drive
Manage device updates
Annual maintenance renewals

Project Support:
Continuous Improvement of AV Support Model
New office/building start-up (AV Solutions) ? Operational on-boarding
MS Outlook Interoperability
Skype for Business integration
Knowledge of: H.323, H.320, H.239, H.264 High-Profile, QoS, ISDN, Firewall Compliance, Video Encryption, Telepresence, basic network troubleshooting.

Documentation & Training:
Ability to create highly visual reporting on current state and trends in regards to AV Support Key Performance Indicators.
Create technical and user-facing documentation, provide end user training on AV systems, create visual status updates

Requirements:
Work with vendor(s) to develop and implement AV Support Model.
Ability to create highly visual reporting on current state and trends in regards to AV Support Key Performance Indicators.
Hands-on experience with integrated AV room solutions.
Work with end users to understand their business requirements and support them as needed.
Ability to handle multiple assignments at the same time and prioritize tasks.
Hardware Support: Polycom model codecs, CMA, RMX, DMA, VBP, RSS, RealConnect, Skype RL2 codecs, Crestron, Bi-amp, and Microsoft Surface Hub.
Applications Support: Crestron Fusion, Service Now, Polycom RealPressene Platform ? Resource Manager, RMX Manager, Websuite, Skype for Business, UC Commander

Must Haves:
5 years minimal experience in the AV/Video Conferencing field
Experience with developing and maintaining an AV Support Model for large scale company(s)
Working knowledge of networking infrastructure (LAN/WAN/Firewall)
Experience with people management
Strong documentation and communication skills (written and verbal)

Preferred:
10+ years experience in the AV/Video Conferencing field
Willing to travel
AVIXA CTS Certification
