Title: CAE Engineer (18-00492)- TOYOTA
Location: Ann Arbor, MI
Pay Rate: Open and competitive  
Type of hire: Contract

Position Description:
(SOW Noise and Vibration CAE Modeler)

Position Responsibilities:
  • CAE Modeling
  • Independently Perform Static and Dynamic Simulation
  • Independently Perform Non-Linear Simulation
  • Perform Structural Simulation of Hybrid Resin/Metal Structures
  • Perform Durability Simulations of Body and Chassis Structures
  • Deliver design recommendations for structural improvements
  • Develop new CAE processes ad necessary
  • Reporting
  • Root cause analysis
Position Requirements & Qualification:
  • Proficiency in using Hypermesh or ANSA to build models
  • Proficiency using Nastran and Abaqus
  • Proficiency with Abaquas Contact, Geometry and Material Nonlinearity
  • Multiple project experience modeling and analyzing Resin/Metal Hybrid Structures
  • Multiple project experience simulating durability of Structures using Femfal software
  • Multiple project experience of developing models and targets from scratch
  • Ability to make clear and concise reports of simulations
  • Multiple project experience determining root cause issues and developing C/Ms addressing root cause
  Minimum Requirements:
  • MS in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
