Location:  Dearborn, MI
Base Compensation:  Competitive

Position Summary:
 The Dealer Sales and Service will be responsible selling the  product to franchise auto dealers across the US. This position requires a track record of selling technology solution to auto dealerships across the US. The Dealer Sales and Service is responsible for successfully achieving the company's financial performance goals. 
Position Responsibilities: 
  • Conscientiously sell the  product to dealers.
  • Prepare and submit reports, proposals and other documents as needed.
  • Regularly update forecast and pipeline, and generate requested reports concerning customer/prospect activity.
  • Meet or exceed sales and revenue volume objectives as established by the Company.
  • Broaden and diversify the customer base.
  • Represent the Company to the customer base, distributors, or other third-party clients
  • Represent the primary interface between the Company and the Company's customers/prospects or distributors.
  • Obtain customer credit data if, and when requested.
  • Provide such Administrative paperwork as necessary to facilitate expeditious order processing, booking, and invoicing.  The result of these activities will promote timely and accurate payments.
  • Comply with the Company's Confidentiality Agreement and Non-Compete Agreement where relevant.
  • Manage multiple client relationships - medium to large scale
  • Understand and can demo the product
  • Balance being a champion for dealers with product profit
  • Build strong dealer relationships at all levels of the organization 
  • accounts, aligning product with client business needs and goals
  • Communicate with the dealer business and technical owners regarding their project and report on status, identify and mitigate risks and resolve issues
  • Work with project managers to coordinate and plan training and release schedules
  • Lead by example in forging industry best practices (meetings begin/end on time, actions from meetings are clear, agendas for meetings, etc.)
  • Identify and implement process improvements that benefit dealers and Company
  • Establish and promote a healthy team atmosphere

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred
  • 10+ years' experience managing dealer sales in a fast paced, technical and dynamic environment
  • Proven success in achieving client profitability, balanced with appropriate service levels
  • Proven ability to conduct the hard conversations with dealers to set expectations and appropriately manage scope
  • Ability to make effective, interesting and persuasive presentations to dealers that helps drive their strategy and revenue for Company
  • Proven ability to understand the dealer business environment and manage to that effectively
  • Excellent organizational, proven problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales and gross profit objectives
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize multiple responsibilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and other tools used to manage the client relationship 
  • Deep knowledge of digital web based and mobile applications, email marketing and other new trends and tools
  • Ability to work in a demanding and rapidly changing environment
  • Smart business minded approach is required, with accompanying technical acumen
  • Work is fast paced and demanding environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to anticipate dealer requirements and demands
  • More than 40 hours per week required to be successful

  • 50% Travel, Trade Shows as required

If you are able to refer a person we do hire, we can offer up to $250 for contractors after they are on the job for 90 days and up to $500 for direct hires after they are on the job between 90 days to 180 days, depending on customer payment terms
