Our client is seeking an EH&S Rep who will have responsibility for maintaining compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety corporate policies as well as state and federal laws and regulatory agencies.
This is long term contract assignment with our client who is one of the world's largest suppliers of automotive interior systems and components including complete seating systems, electronic products and electrical distribution systems

  • Maintain compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety corporate policies as well as state and federal laws and regulatory agencies.
  • Identify safety hazards and cost efficient resolutions, maintain OSHA records, partner with the company's TPA to administer Workman's Compensation, ensure that the company is using ergonomic friendly practices, pursue continuous improvements with regard to EH&S, and complete other duties within the EH&S function as required.

2-4 years experience as Environmental Health and Safety Representative within a union environment.

Please note that if you are a current GTA employee or have been placed by GTA at one of our clients, we will not be able to entertain moving you. If you are able to refer a person we do hire, we can offer up to $250 for contractors after they are on the job for 90 days and up to $500 for direct hires after they are on the job between 90 days to 180 days, depending on customer payment terms
