Summary:
Our client is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician who possesses a High School diploma/ GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, on an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.

Responsibilities
  • Perform regular preventive and predictive maintenance in machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, basic shop machinery, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment. - Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production times and performs schedule maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service times.
Skills Preferred:
  • Perform maintenance technician skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, machinery assembly drawings, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Diagnose process and machinery problems utilizing root cause failure analysis techniques, replace or repair equipment parts, test and make adjustment as required.
Experience Preferred:
  • High School diploma/ GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, on an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
  • 4+ years of maintenance technician experience with strong analysis and repair skills in: electrical ac/dc systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical applications, power transmission systems, fluid mechanics/properties, tubing and hosing applications, operation of mobile equipment, and machine safe guarding.

Education Required:
  • Preferred Education and experience: - An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial maintenance and HVAC applications - PLC and Ladder logic design/troubleshooting - Robot teach point and programming code understanding.
