This is a Direct/Permanent Position with a privately held global manufacturer in the Saline, MI. area.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Develop build process/sequence from drawings and Bill Of Materials for module assembly
  • Fit and assemble components per drawings
  • Perform precise adjustments of mechanical assemblies
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems; and
  • Adhere to safety rules & regulations and,
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

  • Position Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED - Diploma from an Industrial Technology/Vocational School a plus
  • A minimum of two years of Machine Building or Mechanical Assembly experience
  • Must possess your own basic hand tools
  • General knowledge of assembly techniques
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints, mechanical drawings, and first angle projection drawings
  • Working knowledge of the Metric System is preferred
  • Ability to safely use basic hand tools, safely operate a forklift truck and operate overhead cranes

    If you are able to refer a person we do hire, we can offer up to $250 for contractors after they are on the job for 90 days and up to $500 for direct hires after they are on the job between 90 days to 180 days, depending on customer payment terms
