Shifts: 2 shifts -  Must be willing to work  2nd shift -2:30PM to 10:30PM OR 3rd shift (10:30PM- 6:30AM)
 
 Position Summary:
 Our client who is a Tier 1 automotive seating supplier is seeking a Maintenance Technician who is flexible to work the 2nd or 3rd shift.  
   
Position Responsibility:
  • Performs basic repairs as instructed
  • Daily check of seat line which includes:
    Hoses, valves, gears, motors, pumps, boilers, glue guns.
  • Documents performance and procedures as needed.
  • Maintain spare parts crib.
  • Observes mechanical devices in operation and diagnoses malfunctions.
  • Dismantles mechanical devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
  • Makes approved modifications to machinery and equipment to meet production needs.
  • Repairs or replaces defective parts
  • Lubricates and cleans parts.
  • Starts devices to test their performance.
  • Sets up and operates drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
  • Maintains, installs, and repairs electrical equipment.
  • Keeps accurate preventative maintenance records and records revisions to equipment and tools.
  • Installs new machinery and equipment as directed.
  • Observe and follow company rules and policies.
  • Assist in maintaining safe work areas.
  • Follow lockout/tagout safety procedures
  • Fabricates approved fixturing for production use.
Mandatory Skills:
  • 0-3 years  experience
 Education:
  • Associate Degree/ Diploma/Certification

REFERRAL BONUS PROGRAM:
If you are able to refer a person we do hire, we can offer up to $250 for contractors after they are on the job for 90 days and up to $500 for direct hires after they are on the job between 90 days to 180 days, depending on customer payment terms.
