Manufacturing Engineer - 2nd Shift

This is a 2nd shift  Direct/Permanent Position with a Tier 1 Automotive Supplier in the Adrian, MI area.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Provide manufacturing equipment and processes for new and existing projects to include PPAP readiness, FTQ commitments, cost and safety
  • Provide technical engineering support for manual and automated equipment
  • Set-up spare parts, preventative maintenance instructions
  • Provide electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic modifications to existing equipment to enhance safety, quality, and performance
  • Coordinate equipment installation and start-up/debug support
  •  Position Requirements:
    • Minimum 3 years of experience troubleshooting of Sonic Staking, Hot Air Cold Staking, Screw Guns, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Presses, ABB/Fanuc Robots, Vibration Welding, Part Detection Devices (proximity sensors, lasers, photo eyes, light curtains)
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred, Associates Degree required
    • Ability to troubleshoot Circuits, Electrical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic
    • Competent ability with computer programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD)
    • Ability to lead and complete multiple projects simultaneously and under demanding situation

    If you are able to refer a person we do hire, we can offer up to $250 for contractors after they are on the job for 90 days and up to $500 for direct hires after they are on the job between 90 days to 180 days, depending on customer payment terms
