Location: Troy, MI
Base Compensation: Open and Competitive

Position Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and growth of product line marketing strategies by crafting, executing and communicating product and capabilities messages and materials -- including brochures, videos, web content and more -- to prospective and current customers in the global marketplace.
  • Develop and execute multi-dimensional marketing and public relations to promote product excellence and brand awareness. Tactics should include the organization of executive speaking engagements at industry events, membership and active participation in industry organizations, technical award nominations, advertising campaigns, key sponsorship activities, media stories, etc.
  • Maintain and continuously expand knowledge of relevant markets and customer trends, and collaborate with Sales and Engineering to utilize awareness of trends to position our products well within target markets.
  • Lead media relations efforts for the company, with support from director. This includes the development of news releases and media target lists, regular pitching to media and organization of media events.
  • Develop external communication strategies and lead the implementation of external communication programs to meet the strategic goals of the Sales & Marketing organization.
  • Conduct and/or analyze market research for various target markets, product lines and industries as requested.
  • Support entire global team as needed with execution of special events, internal and external, as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Integrated Communications or related field. Master's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years combined Marketing / Public Relations experience in a business-to-business environment
  • Minimum of 3 years automotive experience (tier-one supplier experience preferred)
  • Experience with InDesign, or Adobe Suite software preferred

If you are able to refer a person we do hire, we can offer up to $250 for contractors after they are on the job for 90 days and up to $500 for direct hires after they are on the job between 90 days to 180 days, depending on customer payment terms
