Title: Mechanical Resident Engineer (18-00168)
Location: Dearborn, MI – (Ford Engineering building in Dearborn)
Base Compensation: $40/hr - $55/hr

Summary:
This is a long term contract position for a Mechanical Resident Engineer to work onsite at the Ford Engineering building in Dearborn.
The ideal candidate will possess previous Resident Engineering experience at an automotive OEM preferably Ford along with a B.S - Mechanical Engineer degree and 5 +years experience

Responsibilities
• Resident Engineer supporting the B479 and C-CAR PDBs
• Will be expected to also be onsite to support builds located in various places in metro Detroit which can occur any day of the week.

Skills Preferred:
• Previous resident engineer experience at an automotive OEM preferably Ford

Required experience
• Some experience with WERS, VSEM, SCAAF, Team Center, and in participating/leading program open issue meetings.
• Exhibit a good understanding of mechanical engineering design theory.
• Specific experience in production-intent plastic and metal enclosures.

Education:
B.S - Mechanical Engineer degree and 5 +years experience.

REFERRAL BONUS PROGRAM:
If you are able to refer a person we do hire, we can offer up to $250 for contractors after they are on the job for 90 days and up to $500 for direct hires after they are on the job between 90 days to 180 days, depending on customer payment terms
