Title: PC&L Supervisor (18-00373)
Location: Adrian, MI
Shift: 1st – 6am start time
Base Compensation: Open and Competitive

Position Responsibilities:
  • Lead shipping and receiving in all major areas – safety, quality, delivery and cost
  • Supervise, coach, develop, and evaluate subordinates
  • Enforce all Health & Safety regulations. Ensure a healthy and safe work environment
  • Comply with the terms of the local labor agreement
  • Implement and maintain communications between management, union, and employees
  • Perform daily and weekly audits, departmental reports, and supervisor standard work
  • Approve employees' timecards
  • Meet product and customer requirements and operational goals
  • Execute and enforce all departmental standards, policies and shop floor rules
  • Maintain 5s in the department
  • Identify areas of opportunity and work local resources to implement changes that improve the business
  • Develop and maintain shipment schedules for a three shift operation
  • Ability to configure warehouse inventory logistics, maintain FIFO of finished goods
  • Maintain customer transit scheduling; configure trailer cubing and weights with customers
  • Knowledge to execute Bills of Lading for outbound shipments to customers
  • Ability to create picklists to meet trucking window shipping needs of customers
  • Ability to coordinate all customer trucking outbound shipping windows
  • Lead dock activities to support new product launches or engineering changes
  • Meet Client Budget
  • Root Cause inventory discrepancies for the area of responsibility

Position Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Supervisor
  • Understand EDI schedules, shipping & receiving programs, knowledge of receiving audits
  • Ability to assign work assignments to shift supervisors
  • Ability to work any shift and overtime hours

REFERRAL BONUS PROGRAM:
If you are able to refer a person we do hire, we can offer up to $250 for contractors after they are on the job for 90 days and up to $500 for direct hires after they are on the job between 90 days to 180 days, depending on customer payment terms
