Position Summary:
The role of a Plant Controller is to manage the financial aspects of the operations in order to assure and optimize the plant's financial performance and competitiveness as it relates to performance to budget/forecasts.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Guarantee the accuracy of the accounting and financial information for the plant according to the Group, Business Group and Division policies, including compliance with relevant accounting and tax rules
  • Responsible for month end close including:
    • Month end accruals
    • Sales and cost adjustments and maintaining of supporting schedules accordingly
    • Validate that all purchase price variances and all other operation income and balance sheet adjustments are accurate and posted timely
    • Determine and ensure the follow-up on raw materials and monitor actual margin on goods sold
    • Identify and analyze the variances between the budget/forecast and actual results
  • Using daily dashboard -project throughout the month statistics on performance to forecast.
  • Monitor working capital cash flow throughout the month to assure delivery of forecast
  • Approve all NPP purchase requisitions for plant and develop a tracking tool to assure performance to budget/forecast
  • Ensure the budgetary control of the plant:
  • Develop plant budgets and associated forecasts, as well as plant reporting in accordance with Group procedures and deadlines
  • Develop and maintain budget P data
  • Propose and support suggestions when decisions committing the plant are made
  • Participate in the development of action plans and ensure proper financial evaluation and follow-up
  • Ensure the management of plant cost accountant
  • Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the company
Position Requirements:
  • Business School or Engineering background with a Finance degree or Master's Degree in Finance
  • 5 to 10 years of professional experience, according to the size of the site
  • Industrial controlling experience and strong accounting knowledge
  • Team management experience and a strong sense of teamwork
  • Business minded
  • Results orientation with strong written and oral communications skills
