Position Responsibilities:
  • Enforce all Health & Safety regulations and ensuring a healthy and safe work environment while directing / leading process technicians and team members
  • Maintain exceptional housekeeping standards at all times.
  • Implement 5s in the department
  • Supervisor, coach, develop, and evaluate subordinates by example
  • Achieve manufacturing goals for safety, delivery, quality, cost, scrap, and productivity
  • Implement and maintain communications between management, union, and employees
  • Perform daily and weekly audits, metrics reports, and supervisor standard work
  • Approve employees' timecards
  • Comply with the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement
  • Meet product and customer requirements and operational goals
  • Execute and enforce all manufacturing standards and shop floor rules
  • Identify areas of opportunity and work local resources to implement changes that improve the business
  • Lead problem solving teams to reduce scrap
  • Manage all aspects of daily department activities
  Position Requirements:
  • No less than 3 years experience in a supervisor role
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, 5s, and ergonomics
  • Ability to establish a production run plan
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to work any shift and overtime hours
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing union environment

If you are able to refer a person we do hire, we can offer up to $250 for contractors after they are on the job for 90 days and up to $500 for direct hires after they are on the job between 90 days to 180 days, depending on customer payment terms
