Pay Rate:  $35.00-$45.00/hour (based on level of experience)

Type of hire: Short-Term Contract (this is a 13-14 week project)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Project Buyer to manage all aspects of supplier negotiations and delivering the best level of Total Cost of Ownership and legal compliance in the following categories: Facility Services, MRO, Professional Services (Contract Labor, Consulting, Engineering, HR), IT (Software/Hardware, Communications), Capital Equipment, and additional materials and services as assigned. You will provide an on-going analytical, system administration, and project coordination support to the global IMSP team and Project Manager.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Deliver all project objectives on time, on budget
  • Manage RFQ process and negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best Total Cost of Ownership and contractual terms
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, resolve supplier issues
  • Identify and develop new supply sources for the assigned categories
  • Support functional users in a timely manner
  • Track project KPI's and deliver reports as assigned
  • Support general business activities and carry out other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT, Finance, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain/procurement.
  • Expertise in procurement of Indirect Materials and Services
  • Expertise in legal contract negotiations and risk management
  • Drive to be a self-starter and bring projects to close 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Understanding that the responsibilities may require extended and/or flexible hours
  • Experience with Plex ERP systems is a plus
