Position Summary:
Provides Quality Assurance Support for Greenville facility and other activities regarding TS16949/IATF standards and initiatives to maintain a high performance organization.   
Position Responsibilities:
  • Monitors process for Quality through internal and external inspection. 
  • Reviews all documentation related to product design, manufacturing, purchasing and testing to ensure customer and organization quality requirements are met.  Includes review of design drawings, operation sheets, process procedures, test procedures/data, inspection analyses and vendor/customer specifications.
  • Coordinates product activity; develops PPAP submission packages, Process FMEA, Process Flow, Work Instructions, Control Plans and Inspection Sheets for new and existing programs.
  • Provides technical assistance to purchasing such as interpretation of specifications, design concept and related information in connection with the purchase of raw materials, inspection and test equipment.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends; works with team members to identify issues and gather improvement ideas.
  • Reviews, identifies and reports quality problems or trends based on data from a variety of sources to prevent or reduce defects and determine problem causes.  Failures may be attributable to errors in design, workmanship, documentation, defective parts or defective material.
  • Establishes Quality Assurance procedures that ensure produced items conform to pre-established standards and that product capability parameters are maintained at their current design level during the production phase.
  • Reviews all customer complaints and assures that timely and equitable resolution is achieved by accountable parties, and that corrective actions are implemented to prevent repetition.
  • Provides interpretation and guidelines to Production Operators regarding acceptance or rejection.
  • Determine if product can be reworked/sorted until acceptable material is received from the supplier.
  • Assure product reliability and conformance to SRS engineering, customer and federal specifications
  • Assists in product launch
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in applicable discipline with 2 years of work experience as a Quality Engineer
  • Experience with GD&T, CMM and 6 Sigma

If you are able to refer a person we do hire, we can offer up to $250 for contractors after they are on the job for 90 days and up to $500 for direct hires after they are on the job between 90 days to 180 days, depending on customer payment terms.
