Position Summary:
The Senior Automation Engineer is a critical component of the Mechanical Engineering Team. Teams are made of engineers who enjoy thinking outside the box while working to solve practical problems with no standard solution. Projects offer diverse experiences that strengthen and challenge individual and team skills, resulting in innovative solutions. Position Responsibilities:
  • Present to customers and employees within the organization.
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external vendors.
  • Develop and fully design equipment, layouts, and subassemblies.
  • Ensure that equipment is designed to the customer and/or company build specifications using standard techniques and approach.
  • Take project assignment and direction from Mechanical Engineering Managers.

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering OR 10+ years' mechanical design experience preferably in the automation industry.
  • 1+ years of experience leading small teams of other designers/engineers.
  • Proven experience putting together comprehensive design packages (vision systems, robotics, etc.).
  • Expertise in Pro-E Creo required
