Title: Senior Quality Engineer (18-00136)
Location: Spartanburg, SC
Reports to: Quality Manager
Expected Travel: 25%

Type of hire: Direct / Permanent
Position Responsibilities:
  • Drive improvement actions based on results from Global Safety Audit
  • Complete S.A.F.E. audits as assigned by your Quality Manager
  • Participate in safety committee meetings as assigned by your Quality Manager
  • Escalate any major incidents
  • Provide input to daily accountability meeting as required
  • Build quality into the product and or process through the use of APQP tools
  • Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
  • Ensure customer feedback is effective and timely
  • Maintain and fill your directed roll in approved quality systems including but not limited to:
  • Utilize proven problem solving and statistical analysis techniques as appropriate to root cause and correct quality deficiencies
  • Ensure customer specific requirements are clearly understood and followed throughout the organization.
  • Participate in at least 2 Kaizens annually. Support Kaizen efforts within the plant
  • Participate in company production system manufacturing assessment and drive improvements
  • Participate in or lead the compliance to the company and customer evaluation audits as directed
Position Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years quality engineering experience
  • Must have automotive manufacturing experience
  • Bachelors Degree required
  • Must be able to travel and work overtime
  • Knowledge of TS16949 standards
  • Tier 1 automotive experience with working knowledge of customer systems
  • Experience with Ford and GM systems preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office

If you are able to refer a person we do hire, we can offer up to $250 for contractors after they are on the job for 90 days and up to $500 for direct hires after they are on the job between 90 days to 180 days, depending on customer payment terms
