Title: Shipping Clerk (18-00326)
Location: Aurora, CO
Pay Rate: Open

Type of hire: Contract
Shift: 2nd Shift (11:00 - 7:00PM)
 
Manager Specifications:
  • Needs to be able to multitask tasks
  • Needs to be able to prioritize tasks from multiple Supervisors
  • Needs to have good communication skills
  • Needs to have good data entry / 10 key ability 
Position Responsibilities:
  • Inbound Receiving and Outbound Shipping Clerk Duties supporting 35 Employees and 4 Supervisors
  • Inbound Receiving Duties include searching for missing stock, updating locations for stock and creating manual input tags for employees to put stock away
  • Data entry – Inputting Productivity Numbers into a Daily Spreadsheet for all Employees and updating Dept Productivity Boards
  • Updating Trailer Loading/Unloading Boards Daily
  • May perform some coordination tasks and projects with a limited scope.
  • Identify data, analysis method and report format required to present and explain an issue, phenomenon or potential solution
  • Document technical discussions, action plans and assignments
  • Coordinates with vendors as needed
  • Special projects as required 
Position Requirements:
  • Knowledge in MS Office (Word) – Intermediate level
  • Knowledge with Lotus Notes or other email communication tool – Intermediate level
  • Strong interpersonal skills involving ability to work effectively cross-functionally and cross-culturally
  • Strong written and oral communication skills necessary for meetings and presentations
  • Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback
  • Displays attributes of a critical thinker and leverages innovative ideas
  • Advanced ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using root cause analysis where problems are more complex
  • Ability to create and manipulate electronic databases
  • Position related experience – 2-5 years experience
  • Relevant auto industry experience (0-1 year)
  • Past GM work experience (0-1 year)
  • Areas of expertise include: Quality, Testing and Automotive systems 
Required Education/Training/Certifications/Licenses:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical field or Automotive Technology or equivalent training
  • Valid driver's license

REFERRAL BONUS PROGRAM:
