Title: Technical Information Processor (18-00154)
Location: Saline, MI
Pay Rate: $18-19/hr.

Position Responsibility:
  • Process technical information documents and CAD data by using work instructions to complete the following tasks: database entry, quality checks, scan paper copies of documents to file, bundle/release documents and data in proprietary systems and return original copies of technical information documents to originating departments after processing is complete.
  • Interface with Engineers and follow-up/support on technical information that have been returned for correction
  • Report status on a daily and monthly basis
  • Process and manage Manufacturing and Supplier Engineering Change Requests and Supplier submission of technical information documents and CAD data
  • Support suppliers in submission of technical information documents and CAD data.
  • Create task specific job aids
  • Perform duties as assigned
Position Requirements
  • 2 year associates degree preferred
  • 2-3 years' experience
  • Basic understanding of vehicle structure at a component level preferred
  • Strong sense of customer service
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Windows and Internet Explorer
  • Able to quickly learn proprietary systems and processes
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Keyboarding experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Able to work flexible hours when required by workload
  • High degree of interpersonal skills with a willingness to work in a culturally diverse team environment
