Job Description

Title:  Technical Partner (18-00339)
Location: Saline, MI
Pay rate:  $18.00/hr. to $27.00/hr

The ideal candidate will have experience in R&D / Technical Business Environment or Associate Degree along with Basic knowledge of CAD Operation.

Skills / Duties and Responsibilities 
• Work closely with Design Engineers and provide technical assistance
• Uploading/downloading Files and Technical Information between Affiliates
• Cost & Mass Administration
• Parts List Creation
• Engineering Drawing Change Instruction Creation & Management
• Drawing Printing, Plotting & Folding
• Group File Management
• Administrative support to manage Development Projects
• Generate and present visual status reports
•  Administrative support to manage Development Projects
• Uploading/downloading Files and Technical Information between Affiliates
• Generate and present visual status reports

Required Minimum Education and Experience
• Experience in R&D / Technical Business Environment or Associate Degree
• Basic knowledge of CAD Operation 
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Windows and Internet Explorer
• Experience in Japanese business culture or Japanese language is a plus
• Basic knowledge of CAD Operation
• (CATIA or CREO preferred but not required)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with Design Engineers
• Mindset to provide customer service to all downstream people/processes
• Flexibility to quickly accommodate changes
• Flexibility to adjust work plan and quickly accommodate changes
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Familiarity with Vehicle Structure & Components is a plus
